The Worship &
Discipleship Team oversees the "Faith in Action Celebration"
and all worship and creative programming.
The team is responsive to world events, like
the Tsunami tragedy, and works with other faith traditions, outside the
Christian community, to develop prayer services and support. Also, this
past December we developed a Taize style Advent prayer, in conjunction
with The Community Christian Church and Pastor
Lee Ann Bryce. We hope this will begin a tradition, a need for
prayerful silence and music to open the beautiful season of Advent/
Christmas/ Epiphany.
The Spirit of God simply overflows every
gathering of this group; the abundance of joy, spontaneity, creativity
and hard work is something to behold. Clearly it seems as though God
has drawn together the people who make up this group- people who truly
enjoy one another- for the good of the community.
